Use the schedule planner and reports in Turniero
How organizers use duration assumptions, conflicts, result lists and player reports for control and post-event review.
The schedule planner is a control tool, not a rigid promise. It shows whether match duration, changeover time and table count create a plausible flow. Reports preserve what actually happened afterwards.
Together, both areas help run the event realistically and avoid writing the post-event review from memory.
1. Set planning assumptions
Start with average match duration and changeover lag. Small changes can later have large effects on table load and player waiting time.
2. Read conflicts instead of ignoring them
Review warnings about back-to-back matches, table bottlenecks or short rest periods. Then decide whether categories need later starts, more tables or manual match adjustments.
3. Use reports for results and player performance
In reports, filter by category, status and player. Use the result list for control and the player report for post-event review, questions or club communication.
4. Turn review into next actions
Compare planned duration, real results and unresolved cases. The output should be practical improvements for the next tournament: different start times, clearer categories, more helpers or adjusted table count.
