1. Read the summary first
Start with registrations, players, categories, matches and completed matches. These numbers show whether tournament day stayed within the planned shape.
2. Compare match progress with venue reality
Many matches with few tables are not automatically a problem. The important point is whether completed matches, live matches and waiting time fit the venue plan.
3. Use leaderboards as planning data
Leaderboards show who played many categories, had many matches or produced notable result data. That helps with start times, category limits and helper planning for the next event.
4. Record a few decisions
After the review, three concrete decisions are often enough: adjust category limits, move start windows or add helpers for specific phases. That turns statistics into better tournament practice.
