Review registrations and payment status in Turniero

How organizers can review players, category entries and manual entry-fee status in one workspace before tournament day.

When registration is open for a table tennis tournament, organizers need more than a list of names. They need to know whether players are in the right categories, whether waitlist cases are clear and whether manually collected entry fees have been marked correctly.

Turniero keeps these checks in one organizer workspace so the registration desk and tournament lead work from the same state. The practical sequence is simple: review, mark, resolve exceptions and only then release the next tournament steps.

1. Clean up the participant list first

Start in registration with the obvious questions: Are the expected players present? Are required details missing? Are there duplicate entries or players who are not confirmed yet?

Registration keeps participants, status and category entries visible in the same organizer context.

2. Check category entries per player

Next, check each category entry, not just the person. A player may be entered in multiple events, waitlisted in one category or still need to be moved after a question.

The key decision is whether the current participant state is reliable enough for draws and scheduling. Unclear entries should be resolved before release so a half-correct draw does not start circulating.

3. Review payment status beside registration

Many clubs still collect entry fees on site or through manual bank transfer. That makes payment status part of registration operations, not a separate spreadsheet.

4. Mark open cases deliberately

Not every unpaid amount is an error. Some players pay on tournament day, some fees are waived and some questions still need an answer. What matters is that these cases remain visible.

Use the status as an operational signal for the registration desk: paid is done, pending needs action, waived was decided deliberately. That reduces questions on event day.

5. Do one final check before draws

Before categories are drawn or start lists are published, organizers should read registration and payment status together. This prevents a player appearing in a bracket while participation is still uncertain.

Turniero's value here is not automated accounting. It is a stable shared state for real club workflows during the beta.
