A clean tournament setup saves more time on event day than any rushed correction. Before registration, categories and tables are used actively, organizers should review the core settings deliberately.

In Turniero, that happens in Tournament Setup. The marked screenshot callouts show where organizers click, which fields to check first and where changes are saved.

1. Open the setup sections

Start with the setup tabs. Core details, tables, tie-breakers, categories and summary are separated so decisions do not get mixed into one long form.

The callouts mark the setup tabs, date fields and next area for registration rules.

2. Check date, venue and status

Review tournament name, date, venue and operational status before players or helpers rely on the page. Small mistakes in these fields create many questions later.

3. Set registration rules

Next, check registration deadline, entry fee, match format, score entry mode and timing buffers. These values affect registration, category planning, table control and player expectations.

4. Save changes and share one state

Save changes directly after the review and brief helpers only from that final state. Registration desk, categories, tables and public views then start from the same basis.
