Manage the player directory in Turniero

How organizers review returning players, duplicates, notes and profile history in the club workspace.

The player directory is the shared memory for returning club players. It is built from tournament registrations but is useful beyond a single event: duplicates become visible, notes remain available and past participation can be reviewed.

Do not use this view as a replacement for the current tournament registration list. It is the club context where you prepare player quality, returning-player checks and cleanup.

1. Search players in the club workspace

Open the player directory outside an active tournament. Search by name, club, email or last event and use the filters for RatingCentral, notes and possible duplicates.

Search and filters help identify returning players and possible duplicates before the next event.

2. Merge duplicates deliberately

Select only profiles that really describe the same person. Check club, email, rating and last tournament before choosing the primary profile to keep.

3. Open the player profile

The profile shows master data, notes, RatingCentral link, tournament history, match history and rating evolution. Change notes and external links here, not in old individual registrations.

4. Use it before the next tournament

Before inviting players, the directory answers three questions: who returns regularly, which players need correct rating data and which duplicates would distort registration or statistics?
