Control categories and draws in Turniero
How organizers review categories, pool matches, knockout brackets and publication before players see the state.
Categories and draws are where preparation data becomes live match operations. Organizers should not only look at a finished bracket, but also review the path that created it.
The marked Turniero screenshots show which areas to check first: select the category, read participant state, review the match path and publish only after that review.
1. Select the category deliberately
Start with the right category. With multiple events, this matters because pool matches, knockout brackets and publication need to be reviewed separately per category.
2. Read pool and knockout state together
Check whether open pool matches, live matches and knockout rounds fit together. If a player is still needed in a pool match, the next bracket step should not start too early.
3. Review the bracket before publication
A published bracket is quickly treated as official by players and helpers. Check match path, rounds and unresolved conflicts before the public view stays active.
4. Make corrections before public updates
If participants, results or rounds are still uncertain, correct the organizer state first. Public player views can then use the same state without creating parallel lists.
